I woke up this morning feeling like a slug!
For 3 days we have been housebound becuase of snow and ice. Road crews are vitually non-existent, particularly for the subdivisions, and we live on top of a big hill. The kids had a blast sledding on it Tuesday but the icy rain nixed it for me. And I don't have a sled...So, I vegged out on Tuesday and Weds ie couch potato.
This morning, before I had time to talk myself out of it, I drank 2 glasses of water and jumped on the treadmill in our bedroom. I told myself I only had to do 15 mins but (as usual) once I got going, I put in 30 mins.
I took a shower and got dressed instead of schlepping around in jammies and slippers. Then I worked out to a P90 video that Andy downloaded for me. (Nasser watched...maybe next time he will join me?)
It was 30 mins of stretching, pushups, squats, lunges, biceps, triceps, shoulders and back exercises (Sculpt 1-2). It was quite a work out and I will be feeling it tomorrow. I am going to write down the routine so I can do it at the gym with Phyllis.
Tomorrow is Sweat 1-2 which is a cardio and ab workout. I will record them here later on.
I have been recording my diet in a food log and trying to stay around 1000 to 1200 calories per day. Today is "Day 1"...again :~{
I have promised Andy to be accountable with him and to commit to this P90 6 days/week for 30 min /day, and to diet. I have eaten ~535 calories so far and plan on having Tilapia and a salad for dinner. My current weight is 143 lb.
I will see sustainable results!
